Ship a Safe Agent.
Build a production agent harness in TypeScript. Eight small projects, one capstone: an AI employee you would actually trust with real tools.
$149 founding price until Nov 8 or the first 50 buyers. Then $199. No API key needed.
One support agent. Every layer it needs to touch real systems.
It reads an inbox, looks up orders, and issues refunds. By the end it validates its own output, asks before it spends money, holds no secrets, stays under budget, survives restarts, and fails CI when a safety gate goes missing.
The loop
One agent, one context, limits in the harness. Tool registry, allow / ask / deny, step budgets, skills and tools on demand.

Schemas with one repair, then fail. Act / ask / skip thresholds in code, not prompts.

Preview moduleGate the actions
A shell gate that refuses what it cannot parse. Confirms bound to the exact payload. Middleware that redacts secrets.

Preview moduleUntrusted input
Emails and documents as data, not instructions. Replay real attacks as regression tests.

Preview moduleIdentity and secrets
Zero secrets in the sandbox, short-lived sessions, access that ends with the work, default-deny egress.

Preview moduleCost and model choice
The cheapest model that fits, a reason for every route, spend caps that pause instead of fail.

Preview moduleLong-running agents
Suspend at every tool call, resume from the store, drop forged events, know when to stop.

Preview moduleObserve, evaluate, ship
Trace every run. Scope evals in CI that fail when a gate goes missing.

Preview module- Developers who built a demo agent and now need it to touch real systems.
- Engineers moving into AI/ML roles who want production agent work to show.
- Teams who need a shared vocabulary for agent safety before they ship.
Prereqs: TypeScript, Node, async, JSON, git. No ML background.
- Modules 2 to 8 as private GitHub repos
- Each repo: the full lesson, step-by-step code, graded exercises and a solution branch
- Read-access invite sent to your GitHub username
- Module 1 free and public
- Lifetime access and future updates
Until Nov 8, 2026, or the first 50 buyers, whichever comes first.
Join the course waitlistCheckout opens soon. The course waitlist gets first access at $149 (regular $199), for the first 50 buyers or through Nov 8. Delivered as private GitHub repos, so you need a GitHub username. No spam, only course updates.
Do I need an API key?+
No. Every module runs on a fake model, so you can learn the harness without paying for tokens. Swapping in a real model is one function.
What language is it in?+
TypeScript on Node. If you can read async functions and JSON, you are ready.
How long does it take?+
About 10 to 12 hours, self-paced. Most people finish in two weekends.
Is Module 1 really free?+
Yes. Start with Module 1, build the loop, and decide if the rest is for you.
What do I get?+
Modules 2 to 8 as private GitHub repos, each with the full lesson, step-by-step code, graded exercises and a solution branch. Module 1 stays free. Lifetime access and future updates.
How is it delivered?+
After you buy, you get a read-access invite to the private repos. You need a GitHub username.
What is the founding price?+
The course launched Oct 25, 2026. The first 50 buyers, or anyone who buys by Nov 8, 2026, whichever comes first, pays $149 instead of $199.
Refunds?+
If it is not useful, email me within 14 days for a full refund.
Build the loop first. Decide after.
One agent, one context, limits in the harness. About 75 minutes.
